The weekend was absolutely wonderful to the fact that we were guided through information in a small group setting, shared and also found that other couples struggle as we do. It was a twist to focus on ourselves rather than look at the other person. Of course we have heard to do this before, especially in the bible, but we were actually shown how to go about doing this. It made me look at my marriage differently and some of the exercises brought to light things about me personally that I didn’t realize I was as doing that may hurt my spouse.
Our coaches were kind, loving and very informative. I loved how the setting was open and everyone was able to share. Our coaches, included.
I feel as though the weekend gave us a chance to see things in a different light and gave us the tools to change the things we are struggling with.
