“This weekend I experienced a miraculous shift in my perception and emotions towards my husband. I did not believe a 20 hour intensive could lead to a dramatic reawakening of my respect and regard for my husband. Neither did I ever imagine that we could leave Sandy Cove with a distinct softening of both our hearts towards each other. Prior to the intensive we barely spoke anymore and we were doing our best to avoid one another in our home. I was miserable and thought that separation was inevitable. All of that changed over the course of the weekend. I know that we still have challenges ahead and that our relationship will not be healed or restored overnight but at least now I think we are both overjoyed to have powerful tools to help us start the journey towards rebuilding safety and trust. We have been reminded that all things are possible with Christ in our lives. Please continue to pray for us as we embark on our new journey together especially in relation to establishing safety and trust as we go forward.”
