This weekend was enlightening and definitely caused some serious self accountability. I think God definitely had our needs met by the coaches as instructors. They were amazing, real and knowledgeable. It made it easy to let our guard down and the skills digestible. The other couples were amazing to get to know as well. I think my favorite part was the break out we did where the coach heard us and also gave us some strong feedback. I needed to hear that for sure.
I thought the food was great and nice to have some time outside of learning like lunch and dinner to bond and get to know each other. The B&B was great and the proximity made travel easy.
One of the best tools I am hoping to make a routine is the heart talks. We definitely struggled with talking over each other and bringing other topics into the conversation.
This was an amazing investment in our relationship. I am hopeful and I know I will have to build a bridge for trust so my wife’s safety can grow. We are excited to work through the heavy lifting.
