We did not expect that the Marriage Intensive was going to impact us emotionally and so profoundly. We must have been the “cry babies” of the bunch. We felt safe sharing our brokenness to the group and how we each felt from our past trauma in our marriage. God really was there in our midst during that weekend. The coaches and other couples were so helpful in giving us the knowledge and tools to move forward to grow in our marriage. I am so grateful for the experience and hope one day our struggles as couple and the journey to continue to live in this marriage with God in it, will encourage and help others who have face hopelessness and desperation in their marriage.
